Selection of Artificial Lift Methods: A Brief Review and New Model Based on Fuzzy Logic
Miroslav Crnogorac, Miloš Tanasijević, Dušan Danilović, Vesna Karović Maričić, Branko Leković (2020)Artificial lift methods have applications in oil wells where oil production is no longer possible due to natural reservoir energy, so this necessary energy is added by introducing lift methods. In order to achieve optimum production, the selection of an artificial lift method is very important. This paper uses fuzzy logic as a mathematical and conceptual model for selection of the optimal artificial lift method. The outcome or IF-THEN rules, as the central part of the model, is based ...... the parameters of the well and the reservoir, as well as the limitations and advantages of applying the individual method. From DELA Based Dictionary to Leximirka Lexical Database
Biljana Lazić, Mihailo Škorić (2020)In this paper, we will present an approach in transforming Serbian language Morphological dictionaries from a DELA text format to a lexical database dubbed Leximirka. Considering the benefits of storing data within a database when compared to storing them in textual documents, we will outline some of the functionality that the database has made possible. We will also show how hand-made rules that use category labels lexical entries are marked with can be used to link lexical entries. ...... Availability as a dimension of energy security in the Republic of Serbia
Boban Pavlović, Dejan Ivezić (2016)There is a range of modern approaches and models in literature for the evaluation and determination of energy security, which are based on different parameters and indicators. For most of them, a common characteristic is emphasizing the avail ability of energy, as an important dimension for ensuring energy security. In this paper, concise overview of Serbian energy sectors is given and appropriate energy indicators are defined and determined. Selected indicators provide insight into the main components that characterize availability ...... Microemulsion with aromatic oil as cleaner media for electropolymerisation
Abstract Microemulsion polymerization is widely used as a cleaner alternative way to prepare intrinsically conductive polymers. We studied isothermal phase diagrams for microemulsions of the electropolymerizable heterocyclic aromatic oil 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT), aqueous LiClO4 solution and alkyl polyethoxylate. Our specific goal was to assess the effect of LiClO4 salt on the phase behaviour. The phase behaviour was characterized by stepwise titration and microscopic analyses. Here we found that the increase of the concentration of LiClO4 salt shifts the microemulsion region ...M. Ilić, F.-H. Haegel, S. Zlatanovic, N. Potkonjak, B. Simonovic. DFT study of free radical scavenging activity of erodiol
Zoran Marković, Jelena Đorović, Milan Dekić, Milanka Radulović, Svetlana Marković, Marija Ilić (2013)Antioxidant activity of erodiol was examined at the M05-2X/6-311+G(d,p) level of theory in the gas and aqueous phases. The structure and energy of radicals and anions of the most stable erodiol rotamer were analyzed. To estimate antioxidant potential of erodiol, different molecular properties were examined: bond dissociation enthalpy, proton affinity together with electron transfer energy, and ionization potential followed by proton dissociation enthalpy. It was found that hydrogen atom transfer is the prevailing mechanism of erodiol behavior in gas; ...Zoran Marković, Jelena Đorović, Milan Dekić, Milanka Radulović, Svetlana Marković, Marija Ilić. Estimating hydraulic parameters for the complex hydrodynamic models
Hydrodynamic models have usually been calibrated manually, by trial-and-error, with different values of hydraulic parameters and hydraulic characteristics of boundary conditions. This method of calibration and estimation of hydraulic parameters requires an extensive knowledge and experience of experts, but whether the resulting solution includes an optimal set of parameters still remains an open question. An optimization method founded upon the Gauss-Marquardt-Levenberg algorithm, along with PEST software based on that algorithm, introduces automation of model calibration with regularization, which substantially ...Dušan Polomčić, Dragoljub Bajić, Jelena Ratković, Bojan Hajdin. Mesozoic carbonate rocks in Serbia used as dimension stone
Vesna Matović, Tijana Vojnović Ćalić (2016)The building industry in Serbia uses, to a great extent, imported natural stone for architectural purposes. The significance of local deposits, particularly limestones, is not adequately perceived despite the country’s abundance of these valuable resources. Therefore, this study focuses on Serbia’s Mesozoic carbonate rocks, specifically on the deposits of four selected quarries: Klisura, Skrzut, Struganik, and Tisnica. The quality and prospects of the application of these limestones has not yet been the subject of a detailed, comprehensive investigation.
