Surface functional groups and degree of carbonization of selected chars from different processes and feedstock
Marija Ilić, Franz-Hubert Haegel, Aleksandar Lolić, Zoran Nedić, Tomislav Tosti, Ivana Sredović Ignjatović, Andreas Linden, Nicolai D. Jablonowski, Heinrich Hartmann (2022)The knowledge ofthe structural and chemical properties of biochars is decisive for their application as technical products. For this reason, methods for the characterization of biochars that are generally applicable and allow quality control are highly desired. Several methods that have shown potential in other studies were used to investigate two activated carbons and seven biochars from different processes and feedstock. Anisotropic grossular–andradite garnets: Evidence of two stage skarn evolution from Rudnik, Central Serbia
This paper presents LA-ICP-MS data for garnets from the Rudnik skarn deposit (Serbia), which range from Grs45–58Adr40–52Alm2–3 in the core and Adr70–97Grs2–29Sps1 in the rim displaying anisotropy and zoning. In spite of wide compositional variations the garnets near the end-member of andradite (Adr > 90) are generally isotropic. Fe-rich rims exhibit LREE depletion and flat HREE pattern with weak negative Eu anomaly, including higher As and W contents. On the other side, the Fe-poorer core shows flat REE pattern ...... mudstones, sandstones and limestones which sometimes look like imma- ture turbidites (Dimitrijević & Dimitrijević 1987, 2009; Sladić-Trifunović et al. 1989). Going upwards in the strati- graphic scheme, Lower Cretaceous sediments are replaced with shallow water reef limestones and clastics. The Upper ...

Cutting elements of bucket wheel excavators in lignite opensast mines: Methodology and performed solutions
Dragan Novaković, Predrag Jovančić (2016)Bucket and cutting elements geometry (teeth and hardened steel) have very powerful impact on effective operation of bucket wheel excavator, and that`s why, problems of optimal geometry of elements in specific conditions always are of special interest in mining science and technique. If we want to achieve satisfactory utilization of bucket wheel excavator, it is necessary to modulate geometry material characteristics and technological parameters, as regards bucket wheel excavator work regime, and bucket wheel working performances, and also bucket ...Dragan Novaković, Predrag Jovančić.
