Two areas in this region, the Rhodope-Thrace-Biga Peninsula to the west and Armutlu-Almacık-Nallıhan (the Central Sakarya) to the east, are characterized by extensive Eocene to Miocene post-collisional magmatic associations. We suggest that comparison of the Cenozoic magmatic events of these two regions may provide insights into the Late Mesozoic to Cenozoic tectonic evolution of the Aegean. Vulnerability methods in hard rock formation as a basis for groundwater risk assessment – from resource to source
Groundwater in a hard rock formation is most endangered at places where a potential source can discharge contaminants that can reach the saturated zone of an aquifer. In these circumstances, an essential tool for groundwater protection is the contamination risk map. This map is based on the integration of two maps: a hazards map, i.e., map of potential sources of contamination and a vulnerability map. The use of biological markers in determination of origin and type of organic matter in the Tisza river sediments

Fluid inclusion study in quartz of the Rudnik Pb-Zn-Cu-Ag skarn deposit, Serbia
Six types of fluid inclusions were identified in three growth zones of hydrothermal quartz from the Rudnik skarn deposit. In the core zone, primary two-phase fluid inclusions of high (type 1) and moderate salinity (type 2) homogenized to liquid between 350-430 °C and 340-420 °C, respectively. Raman analysis revealed that the vapour phases are a CO2-CH4 gas mixture, with a predominance of CO2. Palynology and petrology of Upper Miocene lignite from the coastal zone of field “A”, the Kovin deposit (Serbia)
The paper presents the results of palynological research of lignite and sedimentary rocks, as well as petrology of lignite from the “A” field of the Kovin deposit, Serbia. The palynological data suggest changes in the vegetation during the deposition of organic matter with several well-developed zones in Late Miocene palaeomire. Palynofacies analysis indicate changes in palaeoenvironment from fluvio-deltaic with accumulation of siliciclastic, transition from distal dysoxic-anoxic, suboxic-anoxic to proximal suboxic-anoxic and reducing environment. Директно селективно флотирање олова, бакра и цинка у флотацији рудника „Рудник” датира од 1984. године. Технолошка шема омогућава директно издвајање селективних концентрата у три циклуса.
