Dynamic and Static Elastic Properties - Laboratory Investigations of Metamorphites of the "Vranjska Banja" Series
Metamorphites of the series “Vranjska banja” built predominantly of high crystallinity schist series, alternately layered double mica, gneiss, leptonite and micaschist. For the construction of the “Prvonek” dam were carried out laboratory investigations of dynamic and static elastic properties on micashist and gneiss samples in the perpendicular and parallel direction to the foliation. These investigations provided monitoring of the rock mass anisotropy properties and greater reliability of the design parameteres. As the design of mining and construction facilities becomes ...Jelena Majstorović, Bojan Dimitrijević, Suzana Lutovac, Snežana Savković, Miloš Gligorić. Novel Methods in Multiple Criteria Decision-Making Process (MCRAT and RAPS)—Application in the Mining Industry
Multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) is a supporting tool which is widely spread in different areas of science and industry. Many researchers have confirmed that MCDM methods can be useful for selecting the best solution in many different problems. In this paper, two novel methods are presented and applied on existing decision-making processes in the mining industry. The first method is multiple criteria ranking by alternative trace (MCRAT) and the second is ranking alternatives by perimeter similarity (RAPS). These ...Katarina Urošević, Zoran Gligorić, Igor MIljanović, Čedomir Beljić, Miloš Gligorić. Simpson's rule application for experimental determining parameters of rock mass oscillation equation at limestone
By its form, the use of explosives has a destructive character. However, energy of chemical explosives is tamed and perfected in many effects, so that is developed a series of activities which work is unthinkable without the use of explosives. In mining industry, explosives are most commonly used for exploitation in hard rock mass. Thereby, large amounts of explosives can be used, especially for mass blasting. The application of large amounts of explosives gives auspicious techno – economic indicators ...working environment, seismic effects of blasting, oscillation velocity, rock mass oscillation equation, Simpson’s ruleSuzana Lutovac, Miloš Gligorić, Jelena Majstorović, Branko Gluščević, Luka Crnogorac. Steel Arch Support Deformations Forecast Model Based on Grey–Stochastic Simulation and Autoregressive Process
Relatively large deformations of the steel arch support in underground coal mines in the Republic of Serbia present one of the main problems for achieving the planned production of coal. Monitoring of the critical sections of the steel arch support in the underground roadways is necessary to gather quality data for the development of a forecasting model. With a new generation of 3D laser scanners that can be used in potentially explosive environments (ATEX), deformation monitoring is facilitated, while ...čelična podgrada, prognoza deformacija, vremenske serije, grey-stohastička simulacija, autoregresija, podzemni rudnik ugljaLuka Crnogorac, Suzana Lutovac, Rade Tokalić, Miloš Gligorić, Zoran Gligorić. Assessing Criteria Weights by the Symmetry Point of Criterion (Novel SPC Method) - Application in the Efficiency Evaluation of the Mineral Deposit Multi-Criteria Partitioning Algorithm
Information about the relative importance of each criterion or the weights of criteria can have a significant influence on the ultimate rank of alternatives. Accordingly, assessing the weights of criteria is a very important task in solving multi-criteria decision-making problems. Three methods are commonly used for assessing the weights of criteria: objective, subjective, and integrated methods. In this study, an objective approach is proposed to assess the weights of criteria, called SPC method (Symmetry Point of Criterion). A new evidence for pachyostotic snake from Turonian of Bosnia-Herzegovina
Correlation of uniaxial compressive strength with the dynamic elastic modulus, p –wave velocity and s –wave velocity of different rock types
Knowing mechanical properties of rocks incorporated with ultrasonic waves velocities investigations provide a secure basis for mine modelling. Uniaxial compressive strength, dynamic elastic modulus and ultrasonic waves velocities are just some of the rock properties that indicate on presence of discontinuities, stratification and fissures of rocks. Determining the relationship of these rock properties testing the rock samples that are corresponding to different rock types extracted from different mineral deposits represents the core of this study. In this paper, we ...Jelena Majstorović, Miloš Gligorić, Suzana Lutovac, Milanka Negovanović, Luka Crnogorac. Regional rockfall exposure assessment, experience from Serbia
Rockfalls are common in hilly and mountainous areas, especially along roads with engineered slopes and cuts. Such is the case for most of the state and local road routes in Central, Serbia, which was the subject in this case study. A road network of 276 km covering roughly 1700 km2 between the cities of Kraljevo, Čačak and Ivanjica is presented. Assessing of such wide areas needs to be conducted from large to site-specific scale, i.e., using GIS spatial tools ...Miloš Marjanović, Biljana Abolmasov, Uroš Đurić, Jelka Krušić, Snežana Bogdanović.
