    U radu je opisana geološka građa terena i metode koje se koriste u paleontologiji za izdvajanje, konzervaciju i restauraciju fosilnog materijala sa lokaliteta Riđake kod Šapca. Prikazana je anatomija fosilnih kičmenjaka. U prosejanom sedimentnom materijalu težine od 4kg pronađeno je 10,798 kostiju, uključujući ostatke Pisces (riba) Amphibia (vodozemaca), Reptilia (gmizavaca), Aves (ptica) i Mammalia (sisara).
