Development of the hybrid MCDM model for evaluating and selecting bucket wheel excavators for the modernization process
This paper presents a methodology for evaluating and ranking different bucket wheel excavators (BWE) for determining which machine should enter in the process of revitalization and modernization. Various multicriteria methods are used. Combining them achieves the best effect when choosing BVE for the modernization process. AHP, TOPSIS, VIKOR, and PROMETHEE methods are used. The hybrid models are developed from the multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) methods and they are used to evaluate the basic indicators that characterize the operation of ...Snezana Savkovic, Predrag Jovancic, Stevan Djenadic, Milos Tanasijevic, Filip Miletic. Development and evaluation of fracture gradient curve model: a case study of south-central Kazakhstan
An accurate fracture gradient value is one of the most important issues in oil and gas well design and drilling. The value of a fracture gradient is a critical parameter for determining the drilling mud weight and selecting the proper depths for setting the casing in the planning process of drilling operations. This paper proposed the new curve model of fracture gradient for the south-central Kazakhstan (central Asia) region based on the analysis of leak-off test and format integrity ...Branimir Stanisavljevic, Vesna Karovic Maricic, Irena Isakov. Ecological status of the Lim river alluvium in Serbia
Amel Kurbegović, Boris Vakanjac, Vesna Ristić Vakanjac, Mirjana Bartula, Zorana Naunović, Nikola Milovanović, Jovan Kovačević (2022)Three countries share the catchment of the Lim River and they have been engaged in an eco-logical struggle for years, to conserve the river, its tributaries, and biodiversity. Honoring international conventions and declarations, along with active involvement of the civil society and support of Eu-ropean Union agencies, major efforts are being made to draw attention to the degradation of nature, especially water, which is essential for life on the planet Earth. Considering that natural resources are limited and that ...Amel Kurbegović, Boris Vakanjac, Vesna Ristić Vakanjac, Mirjana Bartula, Zorana Naunović, Nikola Milovanović, Jovan Kovačević. Determining the Impact of Cutting Elements State on the Bucket–Wheel Excavator Vibration and Energy Consumption
Background There are two types of specifc sizes’ measurements. The frst is the measurement of energy consumption in a working technological process, and the second is the measurement of vibration, which is displayed over amplitudes of speed. There is an interplay between these two processes. Increasing the power consumption, the value of the vibration speed amplitudes increases. Purpose The process of the determination of machining parameters was based on minimizing the power consumption and vibration of the cutting tool, ...Filip Miletić, Predrag Jovančić, Miloš Milovančević, Miloš Tanasijević, Stevan Đenadić. Highway construction in fossil landslides zones – Lessons learned from the Grdelica Gorge, Serbia
Landslides are common on roads, which directly affect the flow of traffic and the connection and functioning of the population in surrounding area. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate them in the shortest possible time and to determine and carry out the remediation solution. Functionality of the state roads is immensely important so it is necessary to ensure that the traffic is maintained during remediation activities. Therefore, design solutions and remediation execution technology should be adapted to these requirements. ...Biljana Abolmasov, Marinos Skempas, Svetozar Milenković, Janko Radovanović, Miloš Marjanović. Sexual dimorphism and left-right asymmetry of carapace ornamentation in Hemicytheria setosa RUNDIĆ 2002
In biostratigraphic research of the Upper Miocene of the Pannonian Basin System, one of the frequently detected and important ostracod genera is Hemicytheria. Among more than 20 species of this genus, Hemicytheria setosa is present in sandy facies of the Lake Pannon sediments in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The aims of this study were to describe sexual dimorphism and differences between left and right valve morphology in Hemicytheria setosa. Interactions of Copper(II) Complexes of some Schiff base ligands with calf thymus DNA and bovine serum albumin
Rink, Senka Plavšić, Mirjana Roksandić (2022)Major changes in the technological, economic, and social behavior of Middle Pleistocene hominins occurred at the onset of the Middle Paleolithic, 400e200 ka. However, until recently it was not possible to establish when, where, and how certain forms of Middle Paleolithic behavior appeared and spread into Southeastern Europe, mainly owing to gaps in the Paleolithic record. Determining seismic hazard in slowly deforming region: Can we gather enough information from karst caves?
Ana Mladenović, Jelena Ćalić (2021)Methods to determine seismic hazard in any region vary depending on the regional seismicity, but can be roughly grouped into two main groups: one based on probabilistic methods that use data about known seismicity in the region, and another, which is based on data related to the faulting processes and determination of seismically active faults. Both groups of methods are relatively good for seismically active regions. However, in regions of low seismic activity and slow deformations, there is neither ...Ana Mladenović, Jelena Ćalić. Age And Mode of the Middle Miocene Marine Flooding of the Pannonian Basin—Constraints from Central Serbia
Oleg Mandic, Ljupko Rundić, Stjepan Ćorić, Ðurðica Pezelj, Dörte Theobalt, Karin Sant, Wout Krijgsman (2019)The timing and mode of the marine flooding of the southern margin of the Pannonian basin in SE Europe is still a matter of debate. In central Serbia, integrated bio-magnetostratigraphic data and quantified high-resolution records are completely missing. Here, we provide paleoenvironmental and paleoecological constraints from the Slanci section located near Belgrade that has an excellent preservation of micro-fauna and flora, i.e., planktonic and benthic foraminifera and calcareous nannoplankton. We integrate their quantified records with sedimentological, natural gamma radioactivity ...Oleg Mandic, Ljupko Rundić, Stjepan Ćorić, Ðurðica Pezelj, Dörte Theobalt, Karin Sant, Wout Krijgsman. Imputing missing data using grey system theory and the biplot method to forecast groundwater levels and yields
Groundwater management is one of today’s important tasks. It has become necessary to seek out increasingly reliable methods to conserve groundwater resources. Dependable forecasting of the amounts of groundwater that can be abstracted in a sustainable manner requires longterm monitoring of the groundwater regime (rate of abstraction and groundwater levels). Monitoring of the groundwater source for the town of Bečej, Serbia had been disrupted for multiple years. The objective of the paper is to assess the possibility of reinterpreting ...Jelena Ratković, Dušan Polomčić, Zoran Gligorić, Dragoljub Bajić.
