Overwiew of In-Pit Crushing & Conveying Technology in Open Pit Mines
The conditions under which contemporary surface mining operations is carried out obviously becoming increasingly complex. In such complex conditions, the optimization of haulage systems as the technological phase with the largest share in the total operating costs, is very important from the aspect of achieving profitability of the mining project. In a large number of cases, the application of traditional haulage systems with trucks (as the most dominant type of haulage in open pit mines) does not lead to ...Ali Nasirinezhad, Dejan Stevanović, Dragan Ignjatović, Petar Marković. Life Cycle Assessment of Individual Wood Biomass Heating Systems in Households
The use of solid fuels (wood biomass and coal) for heating of households continues to be common practice within European countries. Solid fuel combustion in households contributes more than 46% to total emissions of fine particulate matter. In this study, a life-cycle assessment (LCA) of firewood-based and pellet-based heating systems is performed. These two systems represent two different types of individual wood biomass heating systems. In the case of the firewood-based heating systems, it is analyzed a typical stove ...... gy-Purposes-in-Serbia-FINAL.pdf Life Cycle Assessment of Individual wood Biomass Heating Systems in Households 435 [15] Goedkoop, M., Oele, M., Vieira, M., Leijting, J., Ponsioen, J., Meijer, E. Production of electricity from coal-fired power plants and accompanying CO2 emissions: comparison of EU-27 and US
Even in the third decade of the 21st century, large power plants are still responsible for more than half of the electricity production in Europe and US. They predominantly use fossil fuels in their work, which results in the emission of pollutants into the air, soil and water. In addition to the production of electric energy, fossil fuels, including coal, are used for industrial purposes. Although the use of coal, especially in the countries of the European Union, is ...... is about 4000 MW of installed power for 8000 hours of operation per year). 5. Non-Detonating Chemical Mixture for Non-Invasive Methods of Rock Breaking
Within the Innovation developed several different non-detonating chemical mixtures for non-invasive methods of rock breaking. Laboratory and polygon tests gave the satisfactory results and knowledge enough to start the practical experiments in the field. The basis of this innovation is a theoretical assumption that certain chemical mixtures release a large quantity of gases during combustion. If these gases are found in the enclosed space a growing pressure on the walls of the chamber in which combustion takes place will ...Lazar Kričak, Milanka Negovanović, Nikola Simić, Stefan Milanović.
Palaeoflora of Kamenica (Pranjani Basin, western Serbia)
Palaeofloras of the Paleogene in Serbia are relatively rare, especially in comparison with floras from Neogene sediments. Most Paleogene phytoas sociations from the territory of Serbia existed in a dry and warm climate. The youngest Paleogene phytoassociation originates from the Pranjani Basin (Western Serbia), locality Kamenica. The age of this palaeoflora is determined as Late Oligocene. This fossil plant assemblage is different from other Paleo gene phytoassociations. The palaeoflora from Kamenica is characterized with leaf imprints larger than in other ...... flora from the valjevo-Mionica Basin (Western Serbia).
