    Različiti postupci matematičkih transformacija se mogu primeniti na gravimetrijskim i magne tometrijskim podacima, kako bi se na istražnom terenu definisali strukturno-tektonski odnosi. U radu su prikazani rezultati dobijeni korišćenjem postupka horizontalni gradijent i ukupni horizontalni gradijent na gravimetrisjkim podacima.     U tekstu su prikazana dva osnovna pristupa u seizmostratigrafskoj interpretaciji. Prvi kao polaznu osnovu ima seizmičke sekcije, čija se interpretacija u kasnijoj fazi koreliše sa bušotinskim podacima. Drugi u prvoj fazi analizira podatke dobijene dubokim bušenjem koji se kasnije korelišu sa seizmičkim sekcijama. Prikazan je hronološki redosled i objašnjen postupak pri seizmostratigrafskoj interpretaciji oba pristupa. Ovakav način interpretacije omogućio je naftnim kompanijama detaljnije i preciznije sagledavanje geoloških odnosa, smanjenje rizika istraživanja i racionalnije projektovanje razradnih bušotina.

    In the late Neogene, the Pannonian Basin in Central Europe was filled with sediments when rivers from the Alps and Carpathians shed their sediment load into Lake Pannon. The most powerful source-to-sink system was that of the paleo-Danube, transporting sediments from the NW as far as the southeastern part of the lake.
