Primary crusher site selection in open pit mines - case study in Sungun copper mine
Facility site selection, (such as Primary or in pit Crusher location) is one of the most important steps in mine de-sign process that has a significant impact on economy of the mining operation. This study covers an attempt to find the optimal location forprimary crusher in order to support the expansion of Sungun copper mine, which is the second largest open pit mine in Iran. Recent exploration drilling has led to a considerable increase in the ore reserve. Therefore, ...Ali Nasirinezhad, Dejan Stevanović, Dragan Ignjatović, Mehdi Rahmanpou.
Hydrodynamic analysis of radial collector well ageing at Belgrade well field
The origin and effect of hydraulic resistances on the rate of ageing of radial collector wells are identified through numerical hydrodynamic analysis. The research includes hydrodynamic modeling of one such well with new laterals at Belgrade well field. The performance of the laterals is aggravated by rapid ageing. The change in the hydraulic parameters of the laterals during the first decade of operation is analyzed through simulations of the groundwater regime with realistically specified geometries and hydraulics of the ...Đorđije Božović, Dušan Polomčić, Dragoljub Bajić, Jelena Ratković. Hybrid Model for Optimisation of Waste Dump Design and Site Selection in Open Pit Mining
Aleksandar Doderovic, Svetozar-Milan Doderovic, Sasa Stepanovic, Mirjana Bankovic, Dejan Stevanovic (2023)Waste management is an unavoidable technological operation in the process of raw material extraction. The main characteristic of this technological operation is the handling of large quantities of waste material, which can amount to several hundred million cubic metres. At the same time, this operation must comply with all administrative and environmental standards. Therefore, optimising waste rock management (particularly haulage and dumping) has the potential to significantly improve the overall value of the project. This paper presents a hybrid ...Aleksandar Doderovic, Svetozar-Milan Doderovic, Sasa Stepanovic, Mirjana Bankovic, Dejan Stevanovic. Stability analysis on slope PK dacite Ceramide
Safe surface mining exploitation of minerals is possibile only if stable bench and overall slopes in the open pit are construct. In order to to construct stable open pit slopes, it is necessary to carry out certain physical and mechanical laboratry testing of mineral raw materials in order to determine the geomechnical calculating parameters. These calculating parameters represent the base ground for performing slopes analyses and the open pit design. In this paper, an stability analysis of benches and ...Vladimir Čebašek, Veljko Rupar, Vladimir Ivoš, Vladimir Petković. Transition pathways of household heating in Serbia: Analysis based on an agent-based model
To explore pathways of the energy transition of household heating, an agent-based simulation model was developed for the case of the Serbian household sector. The model is focused on individual entities (households) with the objective to explore the effects of policy instruments on energy transition in households with individual heating systems. Empirically collected survey data were used as input for households’ attitudes towards sustainable heating. Simulations showed that the proposed instruments would lead to higher heating efficiency and less ...energetska tranzicija, modeliranje bazirano na agentima, sistemi grejanja, sektor domaćinstva, obnovljivi izvori energije, emisija CO2Boban Pavlović, Dejan Ivezić, Marija Živković. The investigated site was used for the open storage of lead and zinc waste materials originating from a lead smelter and refinery. Even after remediation was performed, the soil in the close vicinity of the metallurgical waste deposit was heavily loaded with heavy metals and arsenic. The pollutants were bound in various compounds in the form of sulfides, oxides, and chlorides, as well ...Jasmina Dedić , Jelena Djokic , Jovana Galjak, Gordana Milentijević, Dragan Lazarevic, Živče Šarkočević, Milena Lekić. Burnishing Versus Smoothing In Ceramic Surface Finishing: A Sem Study
From the Neolithic up to the present, people have used various methods to improve the surface of ceramic objects. In this study, we look specifically at smoothing and pattern burnishing of ceramics produced today by traditional methods. Optical microscopy and SEM show specific surface changes. Smoothing results in an irregular surface, which causes diffused reflection of light. Burnishing produces an even and compact surface, which causes specular reflection and lustre. The results can be used to infer methods of ...Ionescu Corina, Volker Hoeck, Crandell Otis N., Šarić Kristina. Methods of transportation and discharge of tails to flotation tailings pond
There are different ways of transporting tailings to flotation tailings, this paper presents all of them that are in use in Europe. For conventional storage, tailings are generally discharged from outfalls located along the embankments (dams) of the facility. For surface thickened disposal and paste storage, the tailings are generally discharged from a central location - either through risers or from point sources that are raised during the life of the plant. There is also dry stacking of tailings, ...Sandra Milutinović, Milena Kostović, Ljubiša Obradović, Srđana Magdalinović, Sanja Petrović. Defining structural correlation using of total horizontal gradient
Gravity data can help to define the structural correlation along significant vertical shifts. The different procedures of mathematical transformations on gravity data are applied to define structural correlations. Rock excavation methods in urban areas
