Kvantitativna analiza sa proračunom verovatnoća pojava ovakvih ekstremnih događaja i procenom odgovarajućih ekonomskih posledica, posebno u uslovima globalnih klimatskih promena, omogućava definisanje rizika i optimizaciju parametara sistema površinske eksploatacije.Natalija Pavlović, Tomislav Šubaranović, Dragan Ignjatović. Dating of alluvial sediments from borehole at the lower course of the Sava river and indications of the connection between their genesis and climate changes in the Pleistocene
David Mitrinović, Jelena Zarić, Oliver Anđelković, Gyorgy Sipos, Dušan Polomčić, Milan Dimkić (2019)This paper analyses the way in which Pleistocene climate change and glaciations in Dinaric Mountains was reflected in the deposition of alluvial sediments in the Sava river Valley, using a case study of Belgrade Groundwater Source (BGS), the largest and most downstream alluvial water supply source along the Sava river. A stratigraphic analysis of the Quaternary sediments from two boreholes on this site, based on sediment dating, lithological members identification, grain size distribution analysis was performed. The Flow Conditions in the Epikarst Zone of a Karst Aquifer. Case Study: Suva planina Mt., East Serbia
Branislav Petrović (2023)The epikarst as a part of the karst aquifer represents a complex point of contact and mixing of unconsolidated material from the terrain surface, carbonate rocks altered by “corrosive” water, flora and fauna (and remains of), which is partially saturated with groundwater. Significant amounts of (plant accessible) water, and other solutes and particles, can be stored in this zone for extended periods of time. Unusually sluggish microemulsion system with water, toluene and a technical branched alkyl polyethoxylate
Marija Ilić, Franz-Hubert Haegel, Vesna Pavelkić, Snežana Zlatanović, Zoran Marković, Aleksandar Cvjetić (2015)Microemulsion systems with water, toluene and nonionic surfactants are interesting for application due to the excellent solvent properties of aromatic hydrocarbons. In this study, the pseudo-binary phase diagram (“fish-diagram”) of such a ternary system was investigated using a branched technical alkyl polyethoxylate. Lutensol ON 50 (i-C10E5) was considered a suitable surfactant. The system with technical branched i-C10E5 exhibits very long, and for compositions near optimum solubilization, i.e., the minimum content of surfactant needed for a bicontinuous microemulsion, extremely long ... Hydrodynamic analysis of radial collector well ageing at Belgrade well field
The origin and effect of hydraulic resistances on the rate of ageing of radial collector wells are identified through numerical hydrodynamic analysis. The research includes hydrodynamic modeling of one such well with new laterals at Belgrade well field. The performance of the laterals is aggravated by rapid ageing. The change in the hydraulic parameters of the laterals during the first decade of operation is analyzed through simulations of the groundwater regime with realistically specified geometries and hydraulics of the ...Đorđije Božović, Dušan Polomčić, Dragoljub Bajić, Jelena Ratković. Compaction of Municipal Solid Waste
Jovana Janković Pantic, Dragoslav Rakić, Tina Đurić, Irena Basarić Ikodinović, Snežana Bogdanović (2022)Regardless of the numerous activities undertaken to reduce municipal solid waste, its annual volumes continue to grow. In Serbia, the most common and the only one form of waste disposal is at municipal landfills with daily compaction and soil covering. Municipal waste compacting is one of the basic components of the disposal process. Well compacted waste takes up less volume and allows much safer storage. In order to better predict the behavior of municipal waste at landfills, it is ...Jovana Janković Pantic, Dragoslav Rakić, Tina Đurić, Irena Basarić Ikodinović, Snežana Bogdanović.
"Održivi razvoj rudarskog sektora" in 15. Size–strain line-broadening analysis of anatase/brookite (TiO2)-based nanocomposites with carbon (C): XRPD and Raman spectroscopic analysis
Aleksandar Kremenović, Mirjana Grujić-Brojčin, Nataša Tomić, Vladimir Lazović, Danica Bajuk-Bogdanović, Jugoslav Krstić, Maja Šćepanović (2022)A size-strain line-broadening analysis of the XRPD patterns and Raman spectra for two anatase/brookite (TiO2)-based nanocomposites with carbon (C) was carried out and the results compared with those of a similar sample free of carbon. The crystal structures and microstructures of anatase and brookite, as well as their relative abundance ratio, have been refined from XRPD data by the Rietveld method (the low amount of carbon is neglected). Transition pathways of household heating in Serbia: Analysis based on an agent-based model
To explore pathways of the energy transition of household heating, an agent-based simulation model was developed for the case of the Serbian household sector. The model is focused on individual entities (households) with the objective to explore the effects of policy instruments on energy transition in households with individual heating systems. Empirically collected survey data were used as input for households’ attitudes towards sustainable heating. Simulations showed that the proposed instruments would lead to higher heating efficiency and less ...energetska tranzicija, modeliranje bazirano na agentima, sistemi grejanja, sektor domaćinstva, obnovljivi izvori energije, emisija CO2Boban Pavlović, Dejan Ivezić, Marija Živković. Production of electricity from coal-fired power plants and accompanying CO2 emissions: comparison of EU-27 and US
Even in the third decade of the 21st century, large power plants are still responsible for more than half of the electricity production in Europe and US. They predominantly use fossil fuels in their work, which results in the emission of pollutants into the air, soil and water. In addition to the production of electric energy, fossil fuels, including coal, are used for industrial purposes. Although the use of coal, especially in the countries of the European Union, is ......
