Structural dissymmetrization of optically anisotropic Grs64±1Adr36±1Sps2 grandite from Meka Presedla (Kopaonik Mt., Serbia)
In this paper, grandite core with Grs64±1Adr36±1Sps2composition was crystallographically studied. This core represents zone A of the macroscopically visiblefive A–E zones of the optically anisotropic Grs58–64 Adr36–42Sps2 grandite. The applied procedure includes the detailed analysis of the powder diffraction patterns, and the Rietveld refinements of the crystal structures in a series of 18 space groups and two mixtures, which were followed by the comparative analysis of the R-values, site occupancy factors, and the bond lengths and angles. Tectonic evolution of the Vršac Mts. (NE Serbia): Inferences from field kinematic and microstructural investigations
The Vršac Mts. in NE Serbia represent the key area to investigate structural relations between the Northern Serbo-Macedonian Subunit and Supragetic Unit of the Dacia Mega-Unit. The geodynamic events during the Variscan orogeny in the Late Paleozoic colligated the two units and led to their metamorphic differentiation. The Late Cretaceous extension exhumed the medium-grade Serbo-Macedonian metamorphic rocks and structurally juxtaposed them against the low-grade metamorphosed basement of the Supragetic Unit along an E-dipping shear zone, which outcrops in the ...severna srpsko-makedonska subjedinica, supragetikum, kinematska analiza, multifazna ekstenzionalna deformacija... Simple 2D gravity–density inversion for the modeling of the basin basement: example from the Banat area, Serbia
We have developed a technique to calculate lateral density distribution of the sedimentary basin basement by combining linear gravity–density inversion and 2D forward modeling. The procedure requires gravity anomaly data, depth-to-basement data and density data for the sediments (density–depth distribution). Gravity efect of density variations in the basement was extracted from the total gravity anomaly by removing the joint efect of the sediments with vertical density variations and homogeneous basement of average density contrast (calculated by 2D modeling). Gravity ...Ivana Vasiljević, Snežana Ignjatović, Dragana Đurić. Cook, Miroslav M. Savić, Snežana D. Savić (2023)Recently, nanocrystal dispersions have been considered as a promising formulation strategy to improve the bioavailability of the deuterated pyrazoloquinolinone ligand DK-I-56-1 (7‑methoxy-2-(4‑methoxy-d3-phenyl)-2,5-dihydro-3H-pyrazolo[4,3-c]quinolin-3-one). In the current study, the freeze-drying process (formulation and process parameters) was investigated to improve the storage stability of the previously developed formulation. Different combinations of lyoprotectant (sucrose or trehalose) and bulking agent (mannitol) were varied while formulations were freeze-dried under two conditions (primary drying at -10 or -45 °C). The obtained lyophilizates were characterized in terms ...... indicates a more closed confor- mation (Fig. 7c). Životić (2020)Self-heating of coal waste is a major problem in the leading coal-producing and consuming countries, independent of the recent or past coal exploitation history. The phenomenon of self-heating is dependent on many factors such as the properties of organic matter (maceral composition and rank), moisture and pyrite content, climate effects, and storage conditions (shape of the dump or compaction of the coal waste). Once deposited, coal waste undergoes oxidation, which can lead to self- heating with the overall temperatures ...M.
