Distribucija različitih haplotipova pastrmke u zavisnosti od geoloških dogadjaja.

According to phylogenetic relationships between haplotypes of brown trout Salmo trutta, tentative Adriatic trout S. farioides and tentative Macedonian trout S. macedonicus inferred using the D-loop, i.e., the Control Region (CR) section of the mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) is reconstructed particular events in their evolutionary history. The dating was mostly accomplished using the method of molecular clock and general knowledge about the events of geological history and periods when they have occurred in the Mediterranean region. Since geological history events were mandatory for making a scene for the evolutionary history of brown trout, the incongruence between them has necessarily supported the ongoing questioning of molecular clock calibration’s validity.
