Tokom dugog perioda rudarskih aktivnosti na površini od oko 320 km2, izbušeno je preko 3.200 bušotina i više od 265.000 m jezgra. Nova saznanja o geološkim karakteristikama, morfologiji i kvalitetu ugljenih slojeva nameću neophodnost reinterpretacije i izrade jedinstvenog 3D modela Kostolačko-kovinskog basena.     The results of material entrainment analysis in RAMMS debris flow software, as well as numerical models of final flow heights for two case studies from the Republic of Serbia are presented.     The goal of this study is to evaluate the quality of seven natural mineral water sources in the Vrnjačka Banja area used in the treatment of various diseases. The 24 macro- and microelements were determined by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES). The results show that element content was within allowed limits of concentration, except for B, As, and Se. Karakterišu ih lesniodseci od 10 do 30 m visine, i čine jasan prelaz prema višoj rečnoj terasi.Navejavanje lesa odvijalo se u pleistocenu, tokom suvog stepskog i vlažnog alpijskogperioda.     In order to discover new anticancer drugs, novel ruthenium(III) complexes [Ru(L)Cl(H2O)], where L is tetradentate Schiff base bis(acetylacetone)ethylendiimine (acacen, 1), bis(benzoylacetone)ethylendiimine (bzacen, 2), (acetylacetone)(benzoylaceton)ethylendiimine (acacbzacen, 3), bis(acetylacetone)propylendiimine (acacpn, 4), bis(benzoylacetone)propylendiimine (bzacpn, 5) or (acetylacetone)(benzoylaceton)propylendiimine (acacbzacpn, 6), were synthesized.     Reakcije supstitucije monofunkcionalnog [Ru(terpi)(bipi)(H2O)]2+ kompleksa, gde je terpi = 2,2′:6′,2″-terpiridin i bipi = 2,2′-bipiridin, sa biološki relevantnim sumporo donorskim ligandima, kao što su tiourea, l-metionin, l-cistein i glutation, proučavane su u vodenim rastvorima tehnikom 1H i 13C NMR spektroskopije.   • Frequency and Length of Syllables in Serbian

    Basic analyses of several properties of syllables (the rank-frequency distribution, the distribution of length, and the relation between length and frequency) in Serbian is presented. The syllabification algorithm used combines the maximum onset principle and the sonority hierarchy. Results indicate that syllables behave similarly to words as far as mathematical models are concerned, but values of parameters in models for syllables are quite different from those for words.
