Valorization of non-balanced coal reserves in Serbia for underground coal gasification
David Petrović, Lazar Kričak, Milanka Negovanović, Stefan Milanović, Jovan Marković, Nikola Simić, Ljubisav Stamenić (2019)In the name of a better and safer energy future, it is our responsibility to focus our knowledge and activities to save on imported liquid and gas fossil fuels, as well as coal on which energy security of Serbia is based. The rationalization in the use of available energy resources certainly positively affects economy and the environment of a country. Simple 2D gravity–density inversion for the modeling of the basin basement: example from the Banat area, Serbia
We have developed a technique to calculate lateral density distribution of the sedimentary basin basement by combining linear gravity–density inversion and 2D forward modeling. The procedure requires gravity anomaly data, depth-to-basement data and density data for the sediments (density–depth distribution). Gravity efect of density variations in the basement was extracted from the total gravity anomaly by removing the joint efect of the sediments with vertical density variations and homogeneous basement of average density contrast (calculated by 2D modeling). A Multilingual Evaluation Dataset for Monolingual Word Sense Alignment
Sina Ahmadi, John P McCrae, Sanni Nimb, Fahad Khan, Monica Monachini, Bolette S Pedersen, Thierry Declerck, Tanja Wissik, Andrea Bellandi, Irene Pisani, [...] Ranka Stanković and others (2020)Aligning senses across resources and languages is a challenging task with beneficial applications in the field of natural language processing and electronic lexicography. In this paper, we describe our efforts in manually aligning monolingual dictionaries. The alignment is carried out at sense-level for various resources in 15 languages. Moreover, senses are annotated with possible semantic relationships such as broadness, narrowness, relatedness, and equivalence. In comparison to previous datasets for this task, this dataset covers a wide range of languages ...Sina Ahmadi, John P McCrae, Sanni Nimb, Fahad Khan, Monica Monachini, Bolette S Pedersen, Thierry Declerck, Tanja Wissik, Andrea Bellandi, Irene Pisani, [...] Ranka Stanković and others . Geomagnetna bura kategorije G5 u maju 2024. godine
Količina i jačina dolaznog sunčevog zračenja zavisi ...... 2024. Groundwater as an important resources in emergency situations of the Republic of Serbia
Boris Vakanjac, Radoje Banković, Vesna Ristić-Vakanjac, Saša Milanović, Ljiljana Vasić, Saša Bakrač, Nikola Kozić (2024)Groundwater is a renewable resource wholly or partially protected from external influences (pollutants) by nature. Currently, about 75% of the population of the Republic of Serbia meets its water needs by using underground water. Hence, this water represents an essential strategic resource of our country; according to data from the Water Management Foundation of the Republic of Serbia (VOS, 2001), water from existing sources is used in quantities of about 23 m3/s. Method validation and geochemical modelling of chromium speciation in natural waters
The study focuses on validating reference methods such as ICP-OES and ICP-MS for detecting ultratrace levels of chromium in groundwater, where concentrations are typically very low. Additionally, it verifies a hyphenated technique, IC-ICP-MS, for determining naturally occurring Cr(VI) in tested waters. The validation process involved various chromium analysis variants, including isotopes 52Cr and 53Cr in ICP-MS and IC-ICP-MS techniques, along with specific emission lines in the ICPOES technique.
