    Eksploatacijom boksita iz ležišta "Podbraćan" formiran je površinski kop sa maksimalnom visinom zavšne kosine od 280 m. Redovnom kontrolom stabilnosti trenutnog stanja kosina površinskog kopa utvrđeno je da faktor sigurnosti iznosi Fs = 1.71 – 1.85, a što je ukazalo da postoji mogućnost povećanja nagiba kosine. U radu je prikazan postupak analize mogućnosti povećanja nagiba završne kosine površinskog kopa "Podbraćan".

    Donjemiocenski ugljonosni Ibarski basen se nalazi u južnoj Srbiji.
