Conversion of land areas after coal mine closure and reclamation
U ovom članku je dat pregled najpopularnijih metoda rekultivacije zemljišta i mogućnosti rekultivacije zemljišta nakon završetka rekultivacije i zatvaranja rudnika uglja.... s of the effects on the environment are very important and present the concern in the sense of the loss of surface area and space for living. Defining structural correlation using of total horizontal gradient
Gravity data can help to define the structural correlation along significant vertical shifts. The different procedures of mathematical transformations on gravity data are applied to define structural correlations. The paper presents the results obtained using the procedure total horizontal gradient on gravity data. The application of the total horizontal gradient helped to detect contacts with a large dip angle (vertical or subvertical contacts), which can be interpreted as faults. Cytotoxic activity of tetradentate Schiff Base Copper(II) complexes
Malathion-induced inhibition of human plasma cholinesterase studied by the fluorescence spectroscopy method
The in vitro effect of technical grade malathion was assessed via the kinetic parameters of human plasma butyrylcholinesterase (BChE) using N-methylindoxyl acetate as a substrate for BChE. An inhibitor kinetics study demonstrated the existence of a biphasic inhibition curve, indicating high- and low-affinity binding sites of malathion. The IC50 values as calculated from the experimental inhibition curves were 1.33 × 10–9 and 1.48 × 10–5 M for the high- and low-affinity binding sites, respectively; Hill’s analysis gave 1.29 × ...V. Geochemical evaluation of dolostone deposits in Montenegro: Implications for potential industrial applications
Darko Bozovic, Vladimir Simic, Dragan Radulovic, Slobodan Radusinovic, Vesna Matovic, Anja Terzic (2024)This study presents a unique model for assessing the dependability of continuous parts of combined systems in open-pit mining through the application of fuzzy logic. Continuous sub-systems as part of the combined system of coal exploitation in surface mines have the basic function of ensuring safe operation, high capacity with high reliability, and low costs. These subsystems are usually part of the thermal power plant’s coal supply system and ensure stable fuel supply.
