Non-Detonating Chemical Mixture for Non-Invasive Methods of Rock Breaking
Within the Innovation developed several different non-detonating chemical mixtures for non-invasive methods of rock breaking. Laboratory and polygon tests gave the satisfactory results and knowledge enough to start the practical experiments in the field. The basis of this innovation is a theoretical assumption that certain chemical mixtures release a large quantity of gases during combustion. If these gases are found in the enclosed space a growing pressure on the walls of the chamber in which combustion takes place will ...Lazar Kričak, Milanka Negovanović, Nikola Simić, Stefan Milanović. Reducing environmental impact caused by mining activities in limestone mines
Radmila Gaćina, Bojan Dimitrijević (2022)Mining and its related activities have always resulted in changes in the environment and these changes can vary from one area to another. As a result of mining, several types of changes can be distinguished: destruction of land and existing vegetation, changes in terrain topography, modification in air quality, changes in surface and groundwater quality, as well as change geotechnical conditions of the rock. Environmental impact of mining have been a public concern. There is widespread global interest in mining ...Radmila Gaćina, Bojan Dimitrijević. Legal framework for recultivation of degraded areas caused by mining exploitation
Cyanobacterial diversity and toxicity of biocrusts from the Caspian Lowland loess deposits, North Iran
Tamara Dulić, Jussi Meriluoto, Tamara Palanački Malešević, Violeta Gajić, Tamara Važić, Nada Tokodi, Igor Obreht, Bojan Kostić, Petar Kosijer, Farhad Khormali, Zorica Svirčev (2016)Biocrusts and adjacent sediments were collected from the so-called loess plateau of Northern Iran and the loess deposits on the foothills of Alborz Mountains. The mineralogical and granulometric analyses characterized sediments as quartz-rich clayey or sandy silts. Cyanobacterial diversity, colony morphology and grain stabilization were studied by light and scanning electron microscopy, which showed glue-like layers of cyanobacterial EPS and dense networks of filamentous cyanobacteria immobilizing finer and bigger grains, respectively. Amorphous, tuft and globular cyanobacterial colony structures were also detected. 15 cyanobacterial genera were ...Tamara Dulić, Jussi Meriluoto, Tamara Palanački Malešević, Violeta Gajić, Tamara Važić, Nada Tokodi, Igor Obreht, Bojan Kostić, Petar Kosijer, Farhad Khormali, Zorica Svirčev. Influence of mono- and two-component organic modifiers on determination of lipophilicity of tetradentate Schiff bases
The infuences of the application of mono- and two-component organic modifers on lipophilicity determination of 12 tetradentate Schif bases by reversed-phase thin layer chromatography were investigated. The main goal is to estimate types of interaction between observed compounds and components of the applied chromatographic systems and establish some behaviour pattern in order to easier choose a combination of organic modifers which will simulate interaction in biological systems based on the facts that the same basic intermolecular interactions are responsible ...Materials Chemistry, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, General Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry,General ChemistryNikola Stevanović, Aleksandar Mijatović, Aleksandar Lolić, Mario Zlatović, Rada Baošić. Karst wastewater as a high quality, renewable and within the circular economy water resource
Jovana Nikolić, Vesna Ristić Vakanjac (2021)High quality drinking water in it’s natural state is becoming less and less available to the human population. Based on the expected climate changes, it is considered that this resource will be less in the world but also in our region. Also, the accompanying polluting components that exceed the maximum allowable concentration are increasingly present in the waters. Even after the water treatment, it happens that some components are still in the drinking water, which adversely affects human health. ...Jovana Nikolić, Vesna Ristić Vakanjac. The influence of structural modification of Pd(II) pincer-type complexes on the kinetics of substitution reactions
Snežana Jovanović Stević, Snežana Radisavljević, Aleksandar Mijatović, Biljana Petrović, Ana Kesić (2023)This mini-review summarizes the kinetic data obtained for the substitution reactions of some palladium(II) complexes containing bis-pyrazolylpyridine derivatives as pincer-type ligands with biologically significant nitrogen- and sulfur-donor biomolecules as nucleophiles. Three structurally different palladium(II) complexes were selected: [Pd(L1)Cl]+ (Pd1), [Pd(L2)Cl]+ (Pd2) and [Pd(L3)Cl]+ (Pd3) (where L1 = bis(2-(1H-pyrazol-1-yl)ethyl)amine, L2 = 2,6-bis(5-(tert-butyl)-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)pyridine, and L3 = 2,6-bis(5-(tert-butyl)-1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)pyridine, while for the entering nucleophiles were used thiourea (Tu), L-methionine (L-met), and guanosine-5’-monophosphate (5’-GMP). Fluid inclusion study in quartz of the Rudnik Pb-Zn-Cu-Ag skarn deposit, Serbia
Six types of fluid inclusions were identified in three growth zones of hydrothermal quartz from the Rudnik skarn deposit. In the core zone, primary two-phase fluid inclusions of high (type 1) and moderate salinity (type 2) homogenized to liquid between 350-430 °C and 340-420 °C, respectively. Raman analysis revealed that the vapour phases are a CO2-CH4 gas mixture, with a predominance of CO2.
