Fuzzy optimization in hydrodynamic analysis of groundwater control systems: Case study of the pumping station “Bezdan 1”, Serbia
Dragoljub Bajić, Dušan Polomčić (2014)A groundwater control system was designed to lower the water table and allow the pumping sta-tion “Bezdan 1” to be built. Based on a hydrodynamic analysis that suggested three alternative solutions, mul-ticriteria optimization was applied to select the best alternative. The fuzzy analytic hierarchy process methodwas used, based on triangular fuzzy numbers. An assessment of the various factors that influenced the selec-tion of the best alternative, as well as fuzzy optimization calculations, yielded the “weights” of the alternativesand the ...groundwater lowering, groundwater management scenario, fuzzy analytic hierarchy process, expert knowledge, triangular fuzzy numbers, linguistic variablesDragoljub Bajić, Dušan Polomčić. A Mathematical Learning Environment Based on Serbian Language Resources
In recent years, in line with ever growing usage of Information technology, the learning environments are changing. The amount of available learning materials in various forms has increased. These new environments demand comprehensive learning systems, which enable management of the learning corpus with special attention paid to relevant lexical resources. In this paper we present the concept of a Mathematical Learning Environment in Serbian (MLES), which is based on a corpus of mathematical materials and various lexical resources, enabling ...Radojičić Marija, Obradović Ivan, Stanković Ranka, Utvić Miloć, Kaplar Sebastijan. Machine Learning and Deep Neural Network-Based Lemmatization and Morphosyntactic Tagging for Serbian
The training of new tagger models for Serbian is primarily motivated by the enhancement of the existing tagset with the grammatical category of a gender. The harmonization of resources that were manually annotated within different projects over a long period of time was an important task, enabled by the development of tools that support partial automation. The supporting tools take into account different taggers and tagsets. This paper focuses on TreeTagger and spaCy taggers, and the annotation schema alignment ...Ranka Stanković, Branislava Šandrih, Cvetana Krstev, Miloš Utvić, Mihailo Škorić. Influence of DEM resolution on numerical modelling of debris flows in RAMMS - Selanac case study
Debris flows induced by intensive rainfall represent very hazardous phenomena in many parts of the World. Methods for prediction of runout distance of flow like mass movements are different and depending on the input data, rheology, and available or appropriate numerical solution. However, sometimes it is not easy to obtain pre event and post event high-resolution data in the rural or mountainous area. Thus, the topology of terrain is the most important input parameter for the every real case ...Jelka Krušić, Biljana Abolmasov, Mileva Samardžić Petrović. Testing the energy value of different types of coal by the method of active thermography
In this paper, coal thermograms are presented and analyzed in order to determine their energy value. Two types of coal of different categories, brown and lignite, were selected for active thermographic imaging. The tested coal samples were processed before measurement so that they are similar in dimensions and have two plane-parallel smooth surfaces. The test samples were "primarily" heated under the same conditions and the process of their cooling was monitored by a thermal camera. "Then" they were cooled ...Stevan Đenadić, Ljubiša Tomić, Vesna Damnjanović, Predrag Jovančić, Dragutin Jovković. Convective heat transfer in centrifugal pumps lifted wells: the case of South-Eastern Europe waxy wells
Electric submersible pumps (ESP) are applied in wells where additional energy is needed to ensure discharge of the fluid to the surface through the tubing. At the discharge side of the pump the fluid has bigger velocity, thus the pump induces a forced convection between the fluid and the tubing inner surface. Understanding of convective heat transfer in wellbores and analyses of influential parameters provides a possibility to optimise value of convective heat transfer coefficient in order to avoid ...Bojan Martinovic, Marija Živković, Branko Grubač. AR, CR and ARCR modeling for simulations and analyses of karst groundwater quality parameters
Although an invisible component of the hydrologic cycle, groundwater generally takes precedence over other water resources in the area of drinking water supply. Among groundwater resources, karst aquifers tend to be rich in sufficiently-accessible amounts of high-quality water. During most of the year, this water requires only disinfection prior to delivery to the end user. However, in many cases extreme rainfall and/or sudden snow melt results in transient turbidity, increase in bacterial count and temporary contamination (e.g. increase in ...autocorrelation, cross-correlation, autoregressive model, cross-regressive model, autocross regressive model, nitrates, Banja Spring, Serbia.Vesna Ristić-Vakanjac, Marina Ćokorilo-Ilić, Petar Papić, Dušan Polomčić, Radisav Golubović. Distribution of Uranium and Rare Elements in Radioactive Phosphate-Bearing Anomalies in Southeast Mongolia
Boris Vakanjac, Neil Rutherford, Vesna Ristić Vakanjac, Tanita Đumić, Suzana Đorđević Milošević (2020)Soviet and Mongolian geologists initiated geological exploration of Mongolia for minerals after World War II (1945). These activities lasted until the breakup of the USSR in 1991. As part of this exploration systematic uranium and rare element exploration was undertaken across Mongolia. New exploration resumed in Mongolia at the beginning of the 21st century for a range of ore and mineral deposit styles including uranium, coal, base and precious metals and Fe-ore. This was generally undertaken by Western-based companies. This ...Boris Vakanjac, Neil Rutherford, Vesna Ristić Vakanjac, Tanita Đumić, Suzana Đorđević Milošević. EIT rawmaterials projects in support of the supply chain of critical raw materials for the Eu
