Fault type assessment based on vertical gravity gradient anomalies – advantages and limitations
The type of dip-slip faults can be assessed based on the analysis of vertical gravity gradients. Theoretically, just a simple comparation of the gradient extreme values can give us an answer whether the fault is normal or reverse (thrust). Practical application of this method is far more complicated and the results depend on a number of parameters, such as a complexity of geological setting, the quality of gravity data, dip angle and displacement of the fault, density contrast, etc. ...... type assessment based on vertical gravity gradient anomalies – advantages and limitations Ivana Vasiljević, Snežana Ignjatović, Branislav Sretković Дигитални репозиторијум Рударско-геолошког факултета Универзитета у Београду [ДР РГФ] Fault type assessment based on vertical gravity gradient anomalies ...

Failure Estimation of the Majdanpek Open Pit East Face Based on Inverse Velocity Model
The Majdanpek open pit mine south district is currently active mining prospect of copper ore exploitation in eastern Serbia. The in vitro effect of Al3þ ions in the concentration range 1.7·1026M–8.7·1023M on pepsin activity at pH 2, via kinetic parameters and its electrophoretic mobility was evaluated. Kinetic study demonstrated the existence of an activation effect of Al3þ at pH 2 on pepsin molecule. The number of unimodular roots of some reciprocal polynomials
Dragan Stankov (2020)We introduce a sequence P2n of monic reciprocal polynomials with integer coefficients having the central coefficients fixed. We prove that the ratio between number of nonunimodular roots of P2n and its degree d has a limit when d tends to infinity. We present an algorithm for calculation the limit and a numerical method for its approximation. If P2n is the sum of a fixed number of monomials we determine the central coefficients such that the ratio has the minimal limit. ...Algebraic integer, the house of algebraic integer, maximal modulus, reciprocal polynomial, primitive polynomial, Schinzel-Zassenhaus conjecture, Mahler measure, method of least squares, cyclotomic polynomialsDragan Stankov.
