    U cilju utvrđivanja rezervi podzemnih voda i analize uslova zaštite u periodu 2012. i 2013. godine, sprovedena su detaljna hidrogeološka istraživanja na području izvorišta Jasik (opština Batočina). Uspostavljen je sistem monitoringa, čiji je rezultat predstavljao prikupljanje detaljnih hidrogeoloških podataka.     Propilitska alteracija je veoma česta u gornjokredno-tercijarnim vulkanitima Srbije.
