Evaluation of the effects of wastewater heat pump integration into district heating systems by simulation
Dejan Ivezić, Marija Živković, Dimitrije Manić, Aleksandar Madžarević, Boban Pavlović, Dušan Danilović (2023)The integration of wastewater heat pumps (using purified water) in district heating systems is analyzed in this paper. The simulation procedure is proposed to analyze the impacts of stochasticity of purified water temperature and flow to heat pump integration and operation. The analysis includes calculation of the daily and seasonal coefficient of performance, as well as fossil fuel savings and CO2 emission reduction due to wastewater heat pump use. The proposed procedure is implemented for the case study in ...Dejan Ivezić, Marija Živković, Dimitrije Manić, Aleksandar Madžarević, Boban Pavlović, Dušan Danilović. Spatial distribution of major and trace elements in artificial lakes in Serbia: health risk indices and suitability of water for drinking and irrigation purposes
Goran Marković, Aleksandar Ž. Kostić, Nebojša Đ. Pantelić, Radojka Maletić, Jana Štrbački, Jovan Cakić, Lazar Kaluđerović, Biljana P. Dojčinović, Angelo Maria Giuffrè, Jelena B. Popović-Djordjević (2023)Lakes and reservoirs are the main water resources for household, irrigation, and industrial use. Hence, it is necessary to control water pollution and have reliable information on water quality, which refers to its suitability for a particular purpose. The main objective of this study was to evaluate the suitability of water for drinking and irrigation purposes from ten artificial lakes on the territory of the Republic of Serbia. The physicochemical parameters were determined using standard analytical methods, whereas the ...Goran Marković, Aleksandar Ž. Kostić, Nebojša Đ. Seasonal Variations of the Zapadna Morava River Water Quality
The water samples collected from four localities of the middle course of the Zapadna Morava River during 2020 were analyzed via the selected physicochemical parameters with the aim to estimate the quality of surface water.
A contribution to the understanding of the discharge dynamics and water balance of the karst spring Gornji Dušnik (Suva Planina)
A sufficiently long time-series of daily discharges is needed to assess the discharge dynamics and calculate the water balance equation parameters of a spring (river source). The paper assumes that a catchment is gauged if a time-series of observations of at least 30 years is available, which is a rare case in Serbia. One-year monitoring is often set up to verify the reserves of a water source or spring intended for capture. Monitoring ceases after the final report is ...Aleksandar Tanasković, Vesna Ristić Vakanjac, Dušan Polomčić, Jelena Ratković.
