    This paper presents the first data on the organic matter and thermal maturity of Mesozoic and Cenozoic sedimentary rocks in the East Herzegovina region of the External Dinarides. Representative, organic-rich samples from outcropping sedimentary rocks of different ages in the area (Triassic to Neogene) were selected and analysed. The organic matter was studied by Rock-Eval pyrolysis and under the microscope in reflected non-polarized light and incident blue light.     Rad se bavi hidrogeoloskim karakteristikama izvorista za vodosnabdevanje opstine Kanjiza. Istrazivanja su sprovedena na tri hidrogeoloska kompleksa, od kojih su drugi i treći kompleks kljućni za vodosnabdevanje. Ovi kompleksi se nalaze u sedimentima pleistoćenske i paludinske starosti, na dubinama od 60 do 260 metara, sa subarteskim nivoom vode.     In this paper, grandite core with Grs64±1Adr36±1Sps2composition was crystallographically studied. This core represents zone A of the macroscopically visiblefive A–E zones of the optically anisotropic Grs58–64 Adr36–42Sps2 grandite.     The behaviour and stability of arsenopyrite largely depend on its crystal structure, but studies of crystallography and structural defects are scarce. For clarification, we investigated a series of natural arsenopyrite crystals from the polymetallic Pb-Zn-(±Cu,Ag,Au,Sb,Bi,W) Šumadija-Kopaonik ore district (Serbia) by powder X-ray diffraction (XRPD).     We have developed a technique to calculate lateral density distribution of the sedimentary basin basement by combining linear gravity–density inversion and 2D forward modeling. The procedure requires gravity anomaly data, depth-to-basement data and density data for the sediments (density–depth distribution).     Phase composition, microstructural and magnetic properties of electrospun hematite/cuprospinel composites were investigated. Samples were synthesized starting with 0 to 10 mol% of copper relative to iron. The round shape of reference electrospun fbres was preserved upon their heating up to 600 °C in air, whereas at 700 °C hollow substructure was additionally formed.
