    Ugljevi niskog ranga – ligniti u Republici Srbiji predstavljaju glavnu energetsku sirovinu koja se koristi za proizvodnju električne energije. Rudarstvo u Srbiji doprinosi bruto dodatoj vrednosti sa 1,8% (2020; https://publikacije.stat.gov.rs/). Sagorevanjem ugljeva niskog ranga u termoelektranama generišu se velike količine elektrofilterskog pepela i pepela, koje često predstavljaju jedan od izvora zagađenja životne sredine usled sadržaja toksičnih elemenata.     Biocrusts and adjacent sediments were collected from the so-called loess plateau of Northern Iran and the loess deposits on the foothills of Alborz Mountains. The mineralogical and granulometric analyses characterized sediments as quartz-rich clayey or sandy silts. Cyanobacterial diversity, colony morphology and grain stabilization were studied by light and scanning electron microscopy, which showed glue-like layers of cyanobacterial EPS and dense networks of filamentous cyanobacteria immobilizing finer and bigger grains, respectively. Theoretically, just a simple comparation of the gradient extreme values can give us an answer whether the fault is normal or reverse (thrust).
