  • Dvodimenzionalna geometrijska morfometrija prvih gornjih molara hominina sa teritorije Srbije - taksonomska i metodološka analiza

    Primarni cilj ove studije tiče se taksonomske identifikacije fosilnih prvih gornjih molara (M1) hominina pronađenih u Srbiji, primenom metoda dvodimenzionalne (2D) geometrijske morfometrije. U prvoj (metodološkoj) fazi istraživanja ispitana je efikasnost 16 različitih pristupa (geometrijskih modela) u klasifikaciji M1 neandertalaca i anatomski modernog čoveka.     Kompleksi metala sa tetradentatnim Šifovim bazama ispoljavaju različitu biološku aktivnost, što omogućava ciljne sinteze novih biološki aktivnih jedinjenja. Proučavane su interakcije H[Rh(acac2en)Cl2] (1) i H[Rh(phacac2en)Cl2] (2) sa humanim serum albuminom (HSA) i sa DNK, primenom fluorescentne i UV-Vis spektroskopije (298 K, pH 7,4). Dobijene su relativno visoke vrednost dinamičke konstante vezivanja (Ksv) i to 3,88·104 M-1 za (1), 7,02·104 M-1 za (2), što ukazuje na značajno vezivanje za HSA.     Joni prelaznih metala u kombinaciji sa različitim ligandima nude veliki broj mogućnosti za ispitivanje potencijalnih bioaktivnosti. Među jonima prelaznih metala, bakar je poznat kao endogeni metal za ljude, sa karakterističnim biološkim redoks aktivnostima i relativno jakim afinitetom za nukleobaze. Kompleksi bakra ispoljavaju svoju antitumornu aktivnost na nekoliko različitih načina, generišu veliku količinu ROS, što uzrokuje oksidativno oštećenje mitohondrija i biomakromolekula. Nađeno je da kompleksi bakra(II) imaju umeren do dobar afinitet vezivanja sa DNK, uglavnom putem interkalacije.
