Upper Cretaceous scaglia type limestone from Klepa Mts. (North Macedonia) - sedimentology and biostratigraphy
The research area is located in the central part of North Macedonia, in the area of the Klepa Mts. Based on sedimentological, micropaleontological and biostratigraphical investigations of samples from both the east and west side of the Klepa Mts., sedimentary rocks of the Upper Creaceous age are determined. During the latest Cretaceous, this area was dominated by the sedimentation of dominantly carbonate rocks with variable amounts of clastic components. From DELA Based Dictionary to Leximirka Lexical Database
Biljana Lazić, Mihailo Škorić (2020)In this paper, we will present an approach in transforming Serbian language Morphological dictionaries from a DELA text format to a lexical database dubbed Leximirka. A Tool for Enhanced Search of Multilingual Digital Libraries of E-journals
This paper outlines the main features of Bibliša, a tool that offers various possibilities of enhancing queries submitted to large collections of TMX documents generated from aligned parallel articles residing in multilingual digital libraries of e-journals. The queries initiated by a simple or multiword keyword, in Serbian or English, can be expanded by Bibliša, both semantically and morphologically, using different supporting monolingual and multilingual resources, such as wordnets and electronic dictionaries. The tool operates within a complex system composed ...... the system recall without negative effects on precision. Towards resolving Cretaceous to Miocene kinematics of the Adria-Europe contact zone in reconstructions: Inferences from a structural study in a critical Dinarides area
One key element in the current debate analysing the Central Mediterranean evolution is the Cretaceous structure and kinematics of the present-day oroclinal bent contact between Adria-and Europe-derived continental units in the Dinarides, interpreted in different tectonic reconstructions as a subduction-related thrust system or a large-scale strike-slip fault zone. We provide a solution to the debate by a structural and kinematic study in a key area located in central Serbia along the Europe–Adria orogenic suture of the Sava Zone. Investigating distant effects of the Moesian promontory: Brittle tectonics along the western boundary of the Getic unit (East Serbia)
In this study, we report evidence for brittle deformation in a part of the Carpatho–Balkan orogen, which is explained in terms of effects of the rigid Moesian promontory of the European plate on fault kinematics in East Serbia. Integrating landslide magnitude in the susceptibility assessment of the City of Doboj, using machine learning and heuristic approach
In this work, landslide assessment of the Doboj City area was modeled by combining machine learning and heuristic tools. The application of ArcGIS for assessing the potential of solar energy in urban area: The case of Vranje
In order to determine the solar energy potential for a specified location, it is crucial to consider the latitude, altitude, slope, terrain morphology, atmospheric conditions, etc. Such a complex calculation and mapping of solar energy can be done using the ArcGIS geoprocessing tool, named Area Solar Radiation (ASR). By using the ASR tool, supported with the adequate input data, it is possible to calculate the maximum solar radiation energy (irradiation) for a defined area and for a specified time ...... not the same as for the x, y coordinates. The role of non-covalent intermolecular interactions on the diversity of crystal packing in supramolecular dihalopyridine–silver(i) nitrate complexes
Sunčica Roca, Lucija Hok, Robert Vianello, Mladen Borovina, Marijana Đaković, Ljiljana Karanović, Dražen Vikić-Topić, Zora Popović (2020)Six novel 1 : 2 complexes of silver(I) nitrate with 2,5-, 2,6- and 3,5-dihalopyridines (halo stands for chlorine and bromine) were prepared by the reaction of an aqueous solution of AgNO3 and the corresponding pyridine derivative in a water–alcohol solution.
