Towards more sustainable district heating systems in Serbia - Options and obstacles
The major share of energy consumed in the building environment is dedicated to meeting heating needs, which makes this sector one of the key players in the transformation of the whole energy system. The accurate approach to the transition process assumes acting on both the demand and supply sides. Lately, the supply side has received more attention, as its transformation is one of the key steps of the energy transition process. District heating systems are recognized as substantial contributors ...energetska tranzicija, daljinsko grejanje, dekarbonizacija, obnovljivi izvori energije, prepreke, SrbijaMarija Živković, Boban Pavlović, Dejan Ivezić, Miloš Tanasijević, Dejan Stojanović . Molecular and Isotope Composition of Biomarkers in Immature Oil Shale and its Liquid Pyrolysis Products (Open and Closed System)
Gordana Gajica, Aleksandra Šajnovic, Jan Schwarzbauer, Aleksandar Kostić, Branimir Jovančićević, Ksenija Stojanović (2021)The molecular and isotopic composition of biomarkers in initial bitumen isolated from raw immature oil shale samples from the Lower Miocene Aleksinac Basin (Serbia) and liquid products (LPs) obtained by pyrolysis in open (OS) and closed systems (CS) are studied. The influence of pyrolysis type and variations of kerogen type on biomarkers composition and their isotopic signatures in LPs is determined. The molecular composition of the LPs from the OS pyrolysis is very similar to those in initial bitumen, independently ...... Rock slope stability analysis under Hoek–Brown failure criterion with different flow rules
The stability analysis of homogeneous rock slope following the Hoek–Brown failure criterion under the hypothesis of different flow rules is performed based on limit equilibrium and finite element methods. The applied failure criterion is the generalized Hoek–Brown that can be introduced as a shear/normal function in analysis applying different flow rules. The results are compared with those obtained by the application of equivalent shear strength parameters of the Mohr–Coulomb criterion, considering that this is still the most widely used ...Kružna klizna površ, Huk-Braunov kriterijum loma, Kriterijum popuštanja, Smičuća/normalna funkcija, Nivo napona, Verovatnoća i parametarska analizaSvetlana Melentijević, Zoran Berisavljević, Dušan Berisavljević, Claudio Olalla Marañón . Agent-based modeling as a support to an expert-based approach: Exploring individual heating systems transition
Expert-based energy scenarios are mainly developed following assumptions of experts and, in most cases, a limited number of stakeholders. Such an approach will provide satisfactory results in centrally managed energy sectors where further decisions could be envisaged relatively precisely (electricity production/distribution, district heating systems, etc.). The same approach will provide more uncertain outcomes of future energy structure in the household sector, where decisions related to consumption, selection of energy source, or application of specific technology are made by numerous ...Energetska tranzicija, Grejanje domaćinstava, Individualni sistemi grejanja, Energetsko planiranje, Integrisano energetsko planiranje, ABM, LEAP, SrbijaBoban Pavlović, Marija Živković, Dejan Ivezić. Strategic Environmental Assessment in the Application of Preventive Protection for Wind Farm Noise—Case Study: Maestrale Ring Wind Farm
Determining the spatial position of wind turbines is the initial and most important phase in the development of a wind farm project.
