Advancing Sentiment Analysis in Serbian Literature: A Zero and Few-Shot Learning Approach Using the Mistral Model
Coupling of artificial intelligence methods in the development of hybrid intelligent systems
In this paper we present an approach which couples various artificial intelligence (AI) methods in the solution of complex problems that cannot adequately be solved by a single AI method. We argue that the resulting, hybrid intelligent systems (HIS) can be successfully implemented with the use of available AI software libraries. Different coupling methods are analyzed and a classification of hybrid systems based on the chosen method is given. A Fuzzy Expert Model for Availability Evaluation
Each technical system within itself carries the great potential danger of possible occurrence of failure and damages. Mining machines are characteristic by great investment values, costs of unplanned shutdowns, complex working conditions, and environment and workers hazards. Systematic monitoring of the mining machinery is of great importance for the management of the mining companies. Availability is the overall concept of quality of service. Improving Document Retrieval in Large Domain Specific Textual Databases Using Lexical Resources
Large collections of textual documents represent an example of big data that requires the solution of three basic problems: the representation of documents, the representation of information needs and the matching of the two representations. This paper outlines the introduction of document indexing as a possible solution to document representation. Documents within a large textual database developed for geological projects in the Republic of Serbia for many years were indexed using methods developed within digital humanities: bag-of-words and named ...... Non-Detonating Chemical Mixture for Non-Invasive Methods of Rock Breaking
Within the Innovation developed several different non-detonating chemical mixtures for non-invasive methods of rock breaking. Laboratory and polygon tests gave the satisfactory results and knowledge enough to start the practical experiments in the field. The basis of this innovation is a theoretical assumption that certain chemical mixtures release a large quantity of gases during combustion. Rule-based Automatic Multi-word Term Extraction and Lemmatization
In this paper we present a rule-based method for multi-word term extraction that relies on extensive lexical resources in the form of electronic dictionaries and finite-state transducers for modelling various syntactic structures of multi-word terms. The same technology is used for lemmatization of extracted multi-word terms, which is unavoidable for highly inflected languages in order to pass extracted data to evaluators and subsequently to terminological e-dictionaries and databases. The approach is illustrated on a corpus of Serbian texts from ...... stored in a SQL Server database.
