Transboundary groundwater resources of Serbia - present status and future needs for sustainable management
Republic of Serbia is located at the crossroads of Southeast and Central Europe and belongs to the Central Balkans. With its 88,360 km2, Serbia is one of the larger countries of the Balkan Peninsula. It borders 8 countries and has at least one transboundary aquifer (TBA) with each of them. According to evaluation conducted for UNECE in 2008, Serbia has a total of 17 TBAs, out of which 15 are shared with one neighboring country, while two aquifers are shared with two or three ...Veljko Marinović, Branislav Petrović, Zoran Stevanović. Underground loading-haulage equipment selection with application of topsis method with different weighting methods of criteria
The choice of adequate mining machines is one of the most complex problems in the underground exploitation of mineral raw materials. The weight of such a decision is reflected in the high prices of these machines and the occurrence of even greater costs during their use if their choice was wrongly conceived. There are numerous examples from practice in which such decisions were made solely on the basis of comparing the prices of machines, without considering any of the ...utovarno-transportna mehanizacija, izbor, TOPSIS, entropija, standardna devijacija, težina kriterijumaVladimir Krivošić, Luka Crnogorac, Rade Tokalić. Upper Miocene depositional environments of the Kikinda-Mokrin High (Serbia)
Saša Ivanišević, Dejan Radivojević (2018)Exploration for oil and gas in mature areas, such as the Pannonian Basin, can benefit from reexamination of old data using more advanced modern workflows that focus on the temporal and spatial aspects of sediment deposition. Specifically, we apply a new environment of deposition model that interprets the Upper Miocene- Pliocene sediments as being deposited in a rapidly filling basin characterized by quick shelf edge progradation from the northwest toward the southeast. Reconstruction of this shelf edge trajectory reveals ...Saša Ivanišević, Dejan Radivojević. Determination of Mechanical Properties of Altered Dacite by Laboratory Methods
This paper presents a methodology for determining the uniaxial and triaxial compressive strength of heterogeneous material composed of dacite (D) and altered dacite (AD). A zone of gradual transition from altered dacite to dacite was observed in the rock mass. The mechanical properties of the rock material in that zone were determined by laboratory tests of composite samples that consisted of rock material discs. However, the functional dependence on the strength parameter alteration of the rock material (UCS, intact ...... decrease exponentially with increased AD volumetric participation. The critical ratio at which the uniaxial compressive strength of the composite sample equals the strength of the uniform AD sample was at a percentage of 30% AD. Šeklić, Snežana Sretenović, Marija Ilić, Jovana Bogojeski (2023)Cancer remains one of the world's deadliest diseases, claiming many lives each day. Transition metal complexes are leading candidates in developing anticancer agens with cisplatin used in chemotherapy worldwide. Copper, an endogenous metal in the human body, is especially attractive because of its typical redox biological activities and a relatively strong affinity to nucleobases. A series of Cu(II) complexes with ethane-1,2-diamine as the amine part and pentane-2,4-dione and/or 1-phenylbutane-1,3-dione, pentane-2,4-dione and/or 1,1,1- trifluoropentane-2,4-dione, or 1,1,1-trifluoropentane-2,4-dione and/or 1-phenylbutane-1,3-dione as the ...Aleksandar Mijatović, Angelina Z. Design of the Opencast Coal Mine Drmno Dewatering System
Development of mining in the opencast mine Drmno from Kostolac basin in Serbia is carried out in the increasingly complex geological and hydro geological conditions with the decline of the coal seams to the alluvial part of Europe's largest river Danube.
