Conversion of land areas after coal mine closure and reclamation
Otkopavanje uglja površinski i podzemno praćeno je degradacijom zemljišta, promenom formiranja predela i izmenom flore i faune. Od velikog značaja je razvoj novih naučno utemeljenih pristupa obnovljanje antropogeno poremećenih predela zasnovanih na formiranju rekultivacionih i rudarskih tehnologija. Vulnerability methods in hard rock formation as a basis for groundwater risk assessment – from resource to source
Groundwater in a hard rock formation is most endangered at places where a potential source can discharge contaminants that can reach the saturated zone of an aquifer. In these circumstances, an essential tool for groundwater protection is the contamination risk map. This map is based on the integration of two maps: a hazards map, i.e., map of potential sources of contamination and a vulnerability map. Development and Application of Methodology for Quantification of Overbreaks in Hard Rock Tunnel Construction
A methodology for determining overbreaks in hard rock tunnel construction using the drill-and-blast technique is presented in this paper. The methodology was developed for and applied to crystalline medium- to thick-bedded limestone, but it can be used in any jointed hard rock mass. Overbreaks are inevitable in hard rock tunnelling in a low-confinement environment (shallow tunnels up to several hundred meters deep) as a result of wedge failures along unfavourably oriented discontinuities caused by blasting. Flotability of chalcopyrite from the Rudnik deposit
Директно селективно флотирање олова, бакра и цинка у флотацији рудника „Рудник” датира од 1984. године. Технолошка шема омогућава директно издвајање селективних концентрата у три циклуса. У првом циклусу се издваја минерал олова (галенит), док су минерал бакра (халкопирит) и минерал цинка (марматит) депримирани. У другом циклусу се оток концентрације минерала олова кондиционира и припрема за издвајање минерала бакра. Након кондиционирања, у овом циклусу се издваја минерал бакра. Coupling of artificial intelligence methods in the development of hybrid intelligent systems
In this paper we present an approach which couples various artificial intelligence (AI) methods in the solution of complex problems that cannot adequately be solved by a single AI method. Korelacija magnetnog susceptibiliteta i sadržaja metala u flotacijskom jalovištu
Indexing of textual databases based on lexical resources: A case study for Serbian
In this paper we describe an approach to improvement of information retrieval results for large textual databases by pre-indexing documents using bag-of-words and Named Entity Recognition. The approach was applied on a database of geological projects financed by the Republic of Serbia in the last half century. Rule-based Automatic Multi-word Term Extraction and Lemmatization
In this paper we present a rule-based method for multi-word term extraction that relies on extensive lexical resources in the form of electronic dictionaries and finite-state transducers for modelling various syntactic structures of multi-word terms. Improving efficiency of thermal power plants through mine coal quality planning and control
Главни циљ контроле квалитета угља у рудницима лигнита је снабдевање термоелектрана угљем чији квалитет мора да се креће унутар одређених квалитативних ограничења. Карактеристике угља могу да утичу на ефикасност, поузданост и расположивост како котла тако и јединица за контролу емисије. Determining the Availability of Continuous Systems at Open Pits Applying Fuzzy Logic
This work presents a model for determining the availability of continuous systems at open pits by applying fuzzy logic and fuzzy inference systems. The applied model was formed by the synthesis of independent partial indicators of availability. The model is based on an expert system for assessing the availability of continuous mining systems. Simple 2D gravity–density inversion for the modeling of the basin basement: example from the Banat area, Serbia
We have developed a technique to calculate lateral density distribution of the sedimentary basin basement by combining linear gravity–density inversion and 2D forward modeling. The procedure requires gravity anomaly data, depth-to-basement data and density data for the sediments (density–depth distribution). Gravity efect of density variations in the basement was extracted from the total gravity anomaly by removing the joint efect of the sediments with vertical density variations and homogeneous basement of average density contrast (calculated by 2D modeling). Automatic construction of a morphological dictionary of multi-word units
The development of a comprehensive morphological dictionary of multi-word units for Serbian is a very demanding task, due to the complexity of Serbian morphology. Manual production of such a dictionary proved to be extremely time-consuming. In this paper we present a procedure that automatically produces dictionary lemmas for a given list of multi-word units. To accomplish this task the procedure relies on data in e-dictionaries of Serbian simple words, which are already well developed. We also offer an evaluation ...electronic dictionary, Serbian, morphology, inflection, multiwordn units, noun phrases, query expansion... do not inflect freely - they have to conform to some combining rules. Linearization of Input Signal as a Necessary Tool in Stochastic Modeling of Karst Groundwater
Veljko Marinović (2021)Modelling of karst hydrogeological systems is a very complicated task, bearing in mind that for a deterministic model one should know the internal physical processes of precipitation transformation into discharge, while for a stochastic model nonlinear dynamic systems such as karst should be simulated by linear regression equations. Stochastic models need linearization of input time series due to often large residual in the recession period. This occur because the model is not able to absorb single rain episodes, which ...Veljko Marinović.
