Effects of Energy Production and Consumption on Air Pollution in Serbia
Marija Živković (2019)Energy production and combustion, mostly from unregulated or inefficient fuel combustion, are the single most important anthropogenic sources of air pollutant emissions. Energy sector in Serbia is highly fossil fuel intensive: 87.88% of energy consumed in Serbia is related to fossil fuels, while almost 95% of energy sources are combusted. In 2017. energy related carbon dioxide emission in Serbia is was 47.95 million tones. The main source of carbon dioxide emission was coal, responsible for almost 70% of energy ...... 2 a) total primary energy consumption for period 2007-2017 b) structure of total primary energy consumption in 2017 Coal is mainly used for electricity generation i.e. 88% of total coal energy is utilized in thermal power plants or CHPs. Primary crusher site selection in open pit mines - case study in Sungun copper mine
Facility site selection, (such as Primary or in pit Crusher location) is one of the most important steps in mine de-sign process that has a significant impact on economy of the mining operation. This study covers an attempt to find the optimal location forprimary crusher in order to support the expansion of Sungun copper mine, which is the second largest open pit mine in Iran. Recent exploration drilling has led to a considerable increase in the ore reserve. Therefore, ...Ali Nasirinezhad, Dejan Stevanović, Dragan Ignjatović, Mehdi Rahmanpou.
Identification of the Best Available Renewable Energy Source for Electricity Production in Serbia
Around 2/3 of electricity production in Serbia originates from coal-fired thermal power plants. The most significant domestic coal deposits are lignite deposits, a type of low -quality coal that causes negative health, climate and environmental impacts during the combustion. To reduce those negative impacts on domestic electricity production and to promote environmental awareness, the Serbian Energy Sector Development Strategy and the National Action Plan for Use of Renewable Energy Sources indicate the plan for increasing the share of ...Strategija obnovljive energije, Održiva energija, Proizvodnja električne energije, Solarna energija, Biomasa, Hidroenergije, Energija vetra... publications available in open access, as well as the employees' publications. - The Repository is available at: www.dr.rgf.bg.ac.rs Abstract A r ound 2/3 of electricity production in Serbia originates from coal-fired thermal power plants. Environmental Noise Impact Assessment for Large-Scale Surface Mining Operations in Serbia
Noise emissions are a significant environmental impact caused by the mining industry in all technological phases of surface mining, mineral processing, and waste disposal. This paper presents the role of noise impact assessment and control in large-scale surface mining operations. Mine planning develops the model of mining operations, ore excavation, and waste dumping scheduling and processing rates, including spatial distribution of mining activities. Such a level of mine planning requires an environmental impact assessment study. This can be achieved ...Uros Pantelic, Petar Lilic, Aleksandar Cvjetic, Nikola Lilic. Examination of the possibility of obtaining pyrite concentrate from the flotation tailings of the Lece mine
