Improving efficiency of thermal power plants through mine coal quality planning and control
Numerical Models of Debris Flows with Entrainment Analysis-Case Studies from the Republic of Serbia
The results of material entrainment analysis in RAMMS debris flow software, as well as numerical models of final flow heights for two case studies from the Republic of Serbia are presented. Both of debris flow cases started with initial sliding of huge volume block, prolonging to behave as flowing process. Results of the analysis showed that entrainment material affects final results of transportation model, runout distance, deposition area and volume of debris flow. In both cases entrainment volume is very ...Jelka Krušić , Biljana Abolmasov, Miloš Marjanović.
INVENTS: A Hybrid Mine Ventilation Planning and Design System
Ventilation system analysis is a complex process based on the calculation and analysis of numerous parameters. These problems can be successfully solved by the SimVent numerical package, but a full understanding and use of the obtained results require the involvement of an experienced specialist in the ventilation field. Gate Road Support Deformation Forecasting Based on Multivariate Singular Spectrum Analysis and Fuzzy Time Series
Luka Crnogorac, Rade Tokalić, Zoran Gligorić, Aleksandar Milutinović, Suzana Lutovac, Aleksandar Ganić (2021)Underground mining engineers and planners in our country are faced with extremely difficult working conditions and a continuous shortage of money. Production disruptions are frequent and can sometimes last more than a week. During this time, gate road support is additionally exposed to rock stress and the result is its progressive deformation and the loss of functionality of gate roads. Application of MCDA in the determination of optimal block size for open-pit modelling and mine planning
The process of creating a geological block model as the basis for a further detailed design and planning of mining operations is a very responsible task. Certainly, one of the most important decisions for the modelling process is the choice of the appropriate size of the blocks that form the model itself.
